Balor #1

An eye stared it down, Dog on the roadside that moved to the road And out of the blackness a cry A bellow from the bowels of the ocean As this creature stared closer and closer: Four legs hardened, held by a gaze, Fixed to the tar by tar that crept from an eye Approaching Again it bellows and an army behind it rattles Along in a wave, crashing through the stone as a light is borne through a dog on the road, And the warmth is wettened And no longer comforting.
